Ma An Mountain
Ma An Mountain
Our group visited Ma An Mountain on 6/5/2023, with Prof. Shiming Lei, who joined our department recently. We started from Qi Lingxia at 10:30 am, where is also a good plase to camp. We arrived the top of the Ma An Mountain (702 m) at 1:30 pm. Then we turned to Xi Gong and passed Park of Ma An Mountain and Da Jinzhong (536 m). We took bus return campus and had dinner together, at Niu’qi HotPot of Jiangjunao. It was a fruitful and enjoyable travel.

Diao Yuweng
Diao Yuweng
Our group visited Diao Yuweng Mountain locates near in the south of HKUST. We started from HKUST at 1 pm, and climbed at the entrance of Hang Hau. Then we traveled through to the Wu Kuaitian, Chao Zaidun, and arrived the highest peak at Diao Yuweng at 3:30 pm. Then we turned to Bu Dai’ao, where is famous for delicious seafood, and we had a feast there. Then we backed to HKUST at 9 pm.
